Team Co-Chair
Organized and coordinated
celebrative, meaningful worship
services coordinating with pastor,
worship resource team, the church’s
music ministries, and performing
arts in addition to ministering to
those involved in the worship
ministry. The position served as the
coordinating point to all aspects of
worship and performing arts,
including rehearsals of special
services, training worship
participants, coordinating
comprehensive weekly participation
schedules three months in advance,
ensuring sanctuary is properly
arranged for special services,
integrating many aspects to create
exciting worship atmosphere like
sounds, smells, vision, etc.,
planned and led monthly worship
resource team meetings. Not
necessarily responsible to
personally oversee each area, but to
work with, develop, or recommend
hiring
the personnel necessary to see that
each area is adequately overseen.
Preaching Team Member
The preaching team filled the pulpit
in the absence of the pastor
concentrating on explaining the
meaning of a particular text or
passage of scripture declaring God's
truth to inform the congregation,
enlighten the mind, stir the
emotions, and challenge the will as
"bridge building" between the
biblical world and the modern world.
Served through supporting the pastor
in carrying out the ministry of the
church, leading bible studies,
involvement in outreach, visitation
to church members, newcomers,
visitors and handling special
requests from members to visit loved
ones they were concerned for.
Congregational Care Team Co-Chair
Responsible for building a sense of
community in the church. Encouraged
the growth of spiritually healthy
individuals and families by
providing leadership and
coordination of pastoral care, and
outreach through prayer, visiting
hospitalized members, offering
support to family members, emergency
visits to support members facing a
death, hospitalization in an
emergency or other crucial
circumstances; maintaining
confidentiality and knowing when to
report suicidal thoughts, homicides,
physical abuse and child sexual
abuse immediately while being able
to respond effectively to the most
sensitive inquiries or complaints.

Video Technician
Video recorded Sunday worship, special services and
events as requested; kept an
organized library of video
recordings; and provided duplicate
videos for the pastor and/or
appropriate committee as directed.
Web Site
Created, maintained and updated website including weekly
pod casting.
E-mail Communications
Created and maintained e-mail list of all members and
friends who wish to receive
information in the life of MCC,
Divine Peace MCC, and local
community events. Edited all
outgoing messages for appropriate
content and accuracy.
PowerPoint in Service
Established procedures to use PowerPoint during Sunday
worship; sought out and taught
volunteers.
Celebration Team Leader
As the celebration team leader,
played an important part in setting
the tone and atmosphere of worship.

coordinated team participants no
later than Thursday prior to the
week their team is up before the
worship service.
Administrative
Wrote church ministry team

organizational chart. Wrote
occasional articles for church

Bible Study
Developed Lenten Bible Study and led
several bible studies in order to
develop biblical fellowship and
personal growth among participants
in hopes of encouraging an
environment in which individuals can
grow as maturing followers of
Christ.
