I am overjoyed that God has called
me to servant hood. My calling is to
one day be the pastor of a Metrop olitan
Community Church that is willing to
be vibrant and relevant to the
community around it.
In part this
translates to 1) preaching the
Gospel and reaching out to all
people, one person at a time;
2) standing up for social justice
issues; 3) being the hands, feet
and heart of Christ by loving and
serving others.
I have been a member of Metropolitan
Community Church (MCC) since 2001.
The clergy candidacy, and formation student process in
conjunction with seminary courses,
local church experience provided by
MCC Detroit and Divine Peace MCC in
Pontiac, Michigan, their encouraging
congregations , and
wonderful mentorship were extremely valuable
experiences.
I am devoted to the mission, vision
and healthy growth of Metropolitan
Community Churches at both the
global and local level. I am privileged to
be a servant of God and more
importantly a Christian.
